Payment Policies and Insurance

Payment for professional services is due at the time dental treatment is provided. Every effort will be made to provide a treatment plan which fits your timetable and budget, and gives your child the best care possible.

For patients without insurance, payment in full is expected for services your child received on the date of service. Cash, personal checks and most major credit cards are accepted.

For those patients with dental insurance, our office will send claims to the insurance carrier, provided that the insurance card is presented to the office at the time of the visit.

Dental insurance may not cover all of the costs of your child’s dental care

Most plans include coinsurance provisions, a deductible, and certain other expenses that must be paid by the responsible party at the time of service.

Any portion of services not covered by dental insurance, along with your deductible, is due on the day your child is treated.

Based on the information from your insurance provider, we will give you an estimate of the total cost to you. If however, there is a balance due after insurance pays, that additional cost will become your responsibility, and is due within 30 days.

Payment/Financing Plans

CareCredit is a healthcare credit card that can be used to help patients finance healthcare costs.

For over 30 years, CareCredit has been providing a valuable financing option for treatments and procedures that typically are not covered by insurance, or for times when insurance doesn't cover the full amount. CareCredit can also be used by cardholders to pay for deductibles and co-payments.

Parkville Pediatric Dentistry is pleased to offer CareCredit as a financing option to our patients.  You can reach CareCredit at (866) 893-7864 or visit www.carecredit.com for more information or to apply.
